The Theratrac Pneumatic Cervical Traction System gently stretches neck muscles allowing the vertebral discs to realign, freeing the nerve root tissue from the pressure of the discs. The Theratrac helps "locked" neck muscles to slowly stretch and relax, allowing misaligned vertebrae to resume their normal supportive position.

The Theratrac Cervical traction system provides an even decompression of the anterior and posterior cervical discs, while supporting the spinal curve. The Theratrac cradles the head and neck via a curvature in the neck portion of the device, as well as a special head rest section that is vertically pneumatic. The headrest creates a cushion for the user while in traction. Both the headrest and neck region, inflate with over 30 lbs of adjustable pneumatic pressure to create traction in the cervical curve. This allows the cervical vertebrae to space evenly. The lateral incline for the head is pneumatically adjustable from 0 to 15 degrees.

The pneumatic traction applied is controlled by the user through two hand pump controls. One controls the cervical “stretch” and one controls the lateral “incline” of the device.

I like it so far.

I was diagnosed with anterolosthesis in my neck at 4 discs. I have been using it everyday. Only time will tell if it will work. Thanks for the videos. Very helpful website.

If you have a size 18 neck, get the large not the XL

Source Ortho service is fast. They answer questions quickly and ship products fast. The Theratrac Cervical Traction Device comes in multiple sizes and is non-returnable. My neck is 18+ inches which is the high end for the Large and the low end for the XL. If you have an 18 inch neck, the XL may be a little big, buy the Large. Pros: The Theratrac Cervical Traction Device is easy to use. The air bladder pumps up and deflates quickly and it provides adequate traction. Cons: The device is made of hard plastic. There is no give. There is no padding. The base of your skull rests on the hard surface of the device. Traction may causing mild bruising and sensitivity where it applies force to the skull. If I could return the XL, I would try a Large and see if it fit any better.

Theratrac Cervical Traction device

After even a few uses, I felt that the device helped loosen up my neck, but the small seems a little big for me and is a bit uncomfortable. Overall, a good device for the price!
